Accessibility

Venue access

Due to the historic nature of our building, The Lost Close is not wheelchair accessible. There is no lift providing access all the way down to the venue, and all entrances require navigating stairs. Once inside, the space features uneven cobblestone flooring and small steps throughout.

assistance dogs

We welcome assistance dogs and can provide water for them. Please ask staff for assistance.

parking

We don’t have on-site parking, but there are a few options nearby. Limited disabled parking spaces are available on Johnston Terrace. If you need to find the nearest on-street parking or locate disabled parking spaces, you can use the Edinburgh City Council map here.

age restrictions

Our alcohol tasting sessions are strictly for guests aged 18 and over, and we operate a Challenge 25 policy—please bring valid ID with you.

Guests with mobility concerns

If you have reduced mobility or concerns about access, we recommend reaching out to us before your visit. We’ll be happy to discuss the best possible way to accommodate your needs and provide detailed information about the access route.
